Todd Travis

President and Chief Operating Officer

Todd Travis serves as Foundation Housing’s President and Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for oversight of day-to-day business functions, including acquisition, development, project finance, and property operations. Todd joined Foundation Housing in November 2011, as the Chief Financial Officer. During his term as CFO, Todd was responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls on the entity, transactional, and financial reporting levels. He managed the Foundation’s finances, including investments and securities.

Prior to joining Foundation Housing, Todd was a Senior Manager with Reznick Group, P.C., a national accounting firm well-known for its depth of knowledge in the affordable housing real estate industry. As a member of the Real Estate Audit and Transactional Practice Group at Reznick Group, Todd gained extensive experience in structuring Low Income Housing Tax Credits (“LIHTC”), and Historic and New Markets tax credit transactions.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He is an active member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Urban Land Institute. Todd was also a guest instructor at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University where he taught a real estate accounting course for the Master of Real Estate Development graduate programs.
